Ever watch a scary movie during Halloween and wish you could just jump into the screen and lead everyone to safety with your superior survival skills? Well, now’s you’re chance to prove yourself! Escape the Castle is the newest and most extreme escape game you’ll find in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Unlike other escape games that feature small rooms and simple puzzles that are easily outwitted by you and your ragtag band of baddie bludgeoners and enigma-solving experts, our escape game will allow you all the opportunity to explore the actual haunted halls of a real abandoned school built more than 100 years ago! Every untouched room and winding corridor will draw you deeper into the imaginative adventure our escape game’s scare crew have carefully crafted up until you’re not just lost in the depths of our story – but also our escape game’s massive, maze-like interactive environment. Choose to take it easy with just 60 scream-filled minutes of frightening fun, or test your bravery by booking an overnight excursion that is sure to fill your heart with dread before the moon sinks below the dawn. In either scenario, you’ll either have the time of your short-lived life, or vow to never return again. If you choose the former, though, you’ll find the doors of our unsettling escape game, Escape the Castle, in Ironwood are open every Friday and Saturday though October, plus Sunday Oct. 31st! Escape the Castle, the most intense, heart-pounding new escape game to call Ironwood, MI, home is now open and ready to make you wish you had stayed home to hand out candy this Halloween instead! After all, all anyone that lives in the gorgeous city of Ironwood has to do to realize just how old it is, is look around. From the Black River Harbor Recreation Area and Copper Peak, to Little Girls Point and the Ottawa National Forest, just about every attraction in Ironwood has been around since long before people even inhabited the area. In fact, the city of Ironwood was only officially settled in 1885, less than 150 years ago. That means, no matter what kind of place it has evolved into, Ironwood’s deep history will always stretch far beyond what you, or anyone, will ever know – and it is precisely these types of unsettling secrets that can make you wonder what exactly could be lurking in Ironwood’s shadows. Perhaps the “disastrous fire” of 1887, or the 1926 Pabst Mine Disaster, we’re all tragedies meant to keep people away from Ironwood. Perhaps the city has more secrets than any of us will ever know. Just remember, while we may never know the truth, you can always face your fear at our inspired escape game, Escape the Castle!
