Thrill-seekers have visited the remains of Pennhurst Insane Asylum for years hoping to interact with its many ghostly inhabitants, One thing’s for sure, everyone who has visited is never the same again.. When you first enter the asylum, you start to get a sense that things are not what they seemed. It is clear that those who were meant to be treated within these walls were met with a different fate. The air is cold, the smell of fear lingers but most of all the restless energy from the angry spirits radiates through the building. Many before you have attempted to set the spirits free but have miserably failed. It is now up to you to free them. You have one hour…. But DON’T FAIL, for you risk yourself, becoming lost within the Asylum walls, forgotten forever!!

Yikes. The room had potential but it was greatly ruined by the attitude we experienced after the game when we said we were disappointed with the overall experience. There was a clue that we had solved but since the mechanics didn’t work we wasted 2 clues and the clue master had to come in, try themselves, then leave and come back with a key to open the door. Then the last 2 major puzzles to win were already completed. So, when we technically beat the game we had no clue. It would have simply taken a quick glance to know the locks weren’t locked and not even in the right places. It would have been fine if they were understanding of the situation but when met with attitude it left a terrible taste in our mouths. Sadly, we will never go back here nor will we recommend.

Loved the idea and theme of this room. Some of the clues didn’t quite flow together as I thought they should have, but I thought overall this room was great. It is a smaller room, so I suggest only 4-5 people in the room to make it comfortable. We had a great time in this room!
