Our most popular experience where teams of 4 to 6 players suit up in protective hazmat gear and advance through a series of 5 hi-tech game rooms in a mission to Beat The Bomb.

First of all, this is NOT an Escape Room. This is an arcade challenge. If you want to go to an escape room or you want an escape room experience do not go there. I am not saying it wasn't fun. I am just saying this is not an escape room. There is no story at all. Just rooms and each room has one game. You have 10 minutes in each room, and you will receive points after each room/game. The better you are in the room the better the score and extra time you receive. The extra time can be used to diffuse the "bomb"...which is just an arcade game...again...So anybody who wants a good escape room experience go to PanIQ or Mastermind or anywhere else. If you want some fun you can go there, but this is just an arcade game center with an extra ending.

It was really fun to compete and play the games in the main game but the Game Bay has such incredibly fun games and is so much cheaper and freer. In the Game Bay It's about $1/minute for everyone to play and you can choose your games and play however long you want, take breaks, enjoy drinks, etc. In the main game, there is a lot of waiting around in hot jump suits for your group's turn. It rushes you through each room and you don't have any control to enjoy the games within the game. Also, if you go, carry your jumpsuit! It gets way too hot and you don't need it till the very end - and you'll have a long wait before the last game to get dressed. 12/10 - I recommend the Game Bay 9/10 - I recommend Beat The Bomb game itself

Beat the Bomb is not your standard Escape Room. There are no puzzles to solve and no locks to unlock. It is more of a highly interactive, extremely team focused, real life video game. It is extremely fun and I would recommend to anyone for an amazing time. However, I would not consider it an Escape Room.

This is more accurately a “challenge room” (think Level99 or Boda Borg) than an escape room. The experience consists of 5 mini-games - there aren’t really mysteries or puzzles to solve, rather you are given instructions and need to perform tasks quickly and efficiently. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then I would recommend it! Just don’t go in expecting an “escape room” experience. The maze was my favorite of mission 1, and probably the most fun I’ve had with a laser maze of any game. The staff are friendly (though unfortunately a bit less attentive my second time going which slowed a portion of the experience, but this may have been a one-off issue?) and perhaps most notably they have one of the best photo/video outcomes of any game I’ve played thus far - they are fun, high quality, and easy to share. These games are replayable, and I’m curious to see how BtB builds on that with their “pro league” offering. There is a bar and “arcade” area where you can hang out after if you’d like.
