“Baldwin Manor had a lot of puzzles and they flowed well. I enjoyed the theming of the rooms and the overall aesthetic. The story line worked well and we beat the overall best time for 2 players which was awesome. Definitely a good room!”

“What a lovely room, enjoyed the Japanese and Asian influences. We enjoyed having a first timer with us to point out how the flow and process of an escape room work 😀 great shirts to purchase and stickers”

“This room kept me on my feet always. I never felt board, there were so many puzzles to solve, each of different types. So many fun moments as well as eery moments. Really fun to do with a group and work as a team. Although it seemed a bit older and not as high-tech as other rooms, I still was very impressed and enjoyed it very much. This room always kept surprising me and I truly enjoyed it! Highly recommend!”

“Creative and polished! The story was mid but the room was nice and puzzles were fun and quite different. As described of the room, you WILL be sitting in pitch black and navigating through darkness for a big portion, but the puzzles are designed uniquely for that scenario and I think they did it well. I would definitely recommend it for a seasoned group looking for a unique experience. Note, the room is a bit small and would be fine for 2-3. The only thing is I wish it were longer, but I understand that our group beat it unusually quickly so the standard experience should be fine.”

“Every single room at TEV is excellent and this one is no exception. We played it right after Neighborhood Watcher (which was PHENOMENAL) and this was definitely a weaker showing than that, but still would be a top class room everywhere else. We did solve one puzzle (which turned something on) then took long enough in step two for that puzzle to turn off and we had to re-do it...the only potential issue we saw. The actress / GM did a great job! This room is on the easier side so if you're newer, or looking for a warm-up, give this one a go.”

“I LOVED THIS GAME SO MUCH!! Top Game out of 600 plus played. From the story, the puzzles, the GM, everything, we had an absolutely blast and we were talking about this game hours and hours later. This is a MUST play room.”

“This was easily one of our top games that we’ve played and probably our best experience yet! Taylor was our game master and she sold the role she played well. We had so much fun even with the few scares I received, at times I forgot it was just a game! (Im sure the team had a good laugh with us in a particular part of the room). LOL I highly recommend this room, it is definitely worth it.”

“This was a really fun room! There were lots of puzzles (lots of locks and puzzles) and it was so much fun! We almost set a record if we didn’t get stuck and frustrated on the last puzzle. Highly recommend!”

Orlando bursts with magic, mystery, and the best kind of mayhem. This star of the Sunshine State packs an insane amount of awesome in one area. Academics and fans of college athletics will know Orlando for the massive University of Central Florida. The football stadium (nicknamed the Bounce House) is home to the UCF Knights, who became NCAA National Champions in 2017. Orlando and surrounding areas are home to multiple major theme parks, each with unique attractions that make them worth a vacation on their own. You can be enchanted at Walt Disney World Resort, turn into a wizard at Universal Orlando Resort, meet marine life at SeaWorld Orlando, swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove, and build your imagination at Legoland Florida. It’s no wonder the escape rooms in Orlando are just as bombastic as its other attractions. Over a hundred escape rooms span the Orlando area, with countless incredible reviews and challenges ready to stump and surprise the most seasoned escape artist. From military missions to fantastical science fiction fantasies, Orlando has plenty of puzzles ready to be solved by curious minds.
The Great Escape Room was the first live escape experience opened in Orlando. However, it was far from the last. The Great Escape Room became a chain of escape rooms, and in the years since their initial opening in 2014, over a hundred live escape experiences have opened in the area. In the heart of America’s theme park capital, it’s only natural that the escape rooms in the area excel at incorporating unique themes. Many escape rooms have pivoted from the traditional “unlock the door” format to more collaborative takes on puzzle-solving.
Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
There are plenty of awesome escape rooms to choose from in Orlando. The goal of Morty is to make escape rooms more accessible for everyone to find and play. With Morty, you can: • Browse escape rooms anywhere in the country • Read reviews and ratings from other community members • Book a room together with your friends Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned escape room enthusiast, our aim is to help you play more escape rooms and visit more immersive attractions.
