Can you survive a horror film? This murderous horror movie fan wants to watch you try. Each player will take a quiz before the game to determine which character they are: The Nerd, Virgin, Jock, Rebel, Prom Queen, or Detective. Your team will be divided into separate rooms where you must work individually and as a team. Not only do you need to escape, but you must also survive! Who will live? Who will die?

The Hex Room is a must! The concept of having to escape a horror film is so interesting. Everyone got out and half of our group got their survivor medallions. The room has a couple of jump scares and a loud portion with the crackling of electricity.

I will start by saying that if you do this room, you definitely need to have a strong team! This room is not for beginners! Great production quality, as always, from Crossroads, and the puzzles were unique without being frustratingly difficult. Overall, I think I can say that Hex Room is in my top ten favorite rooms so far!

Jackson is the best and really made the whole experience for my group. We will be back and hopefully he’ll run our next game!

Fantastic room! Not for beginners. Gamemaster Zakk was strategic and helpful with his hints. Unique puzzle design, highly recommend!

The concept of dividing players into individual rooms was interesting and a true test to one’s ability to solve puzzles independently. The puzzles required a lot of communication. There were moments of struggle since the only person to rely on was myself. Overall, a different and fun experience, but i would only recommend this room to experienced escape artists who are willing to work independently. If i had to pick between weeping witch or hex, it would be weeping witch.

Thanks to Hex Room, I can not only say I got to be Prom Queen once in my life, I can also say I rescued the Jock from certain doom. It's true in my mind, so that's all that counts, right? I am a scarededy cat but this was tolerably scarededy for me, minus one moment I had to muster up my anti-scarededy courage and do a fairly scarededy thing. (As the Detective said: "You're still in there?") Very cool setup and good quality challenging puzzles. I did not get to keep the tiara, but I shall forgive them for that, because that's how Prom Queens roll.

Great start with everyone in different rooms yet needing to work inter-dependently. Awesome set design with clever puzzles. Really felt the mood. The puzzles were far removed from the standard locked drawers elements.
