“Very fun room with an excellent flow, solid set design, great puzzles & proper signposting (which is something a lot of rooms in the region seem to lack). This room was easily a standout on my 40-room trip across Spain & Greece. Can’t wait to see what this company does next.”

“Super fun, unique escape room that’s less brainteaser oriented and more about collaboration and little physical challenges. The set design was also solid, though, which led to a really immersive atmosphere. Some other touches were well thought through as well to keep you in the immersion, like having the help system be your “ai assistant” in the loudspeaker, smoke machines, and all the high tech automation. It’s rare to find a room that’s so well thought-through for a group (4-6) and this one is excellent for that size.”

“Must do room in Barcelona - the reviews and awards are more than well deserved. We had an absolute ball and forgot we were doing an escape room because we were so immersed in the experience. Full credits to the fantastic GM who is very involved in this room and making this experience what it was. Just don’t wear anything you hold dear (wouldn’t want getting dirty) like we did - my poor white sweatshirt :( But it was well worth the sacrifice and dry cleaning fee $$.”

“I loved it so much I bought the T-shirt. I’ll be honest, the first 45-60 mins are not great, but it really turns on for the second half and has some moments that made it worth it for me. The issue with the first ~hour is puzzle flow. You have a lot to look at and do, but it’s not clear where you should be spending your time which is frustrating because you waste time until a clue comes in. This is not the case in the second half in my opinion, so hang in there and know that you’re not alone. The spook factor, for me, was really good. Excellent tension, and a great set with thoughtful lighting. We don’t do a lot of horror rooms so our tolerance is relatively low, so YMMV. Try to have fun with it. I was grinning ear to ear for the last hour.”

“An amazing escape experience right from the start. Completed as a team of 2 and we were exhausted and out of breath at the end! We had so much fun. A must do if you are in Barcelona! Completed in English - GM spoke fantastic English and language was not an issue at all.”

“Great room! Very realistic! I would label it more like an experience room rather than a traditional "escape room." game master was super helpful! Also lots of elements I'm not familiar with! Would recommend! Did it with a group of 2!”

“We both ranked this first out of the 10 games we played in Spain. This room wasn't without its flaws, several of the puzzles were pretty standard issue, and the realistic environment can ruin clothing. However, this room had the most immersive environment that I've seen and the climactic moments were truly impactful and memorable. Even if you're not a fan of getting dirty this room is a must do.”

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
