“This is a superb game. We came to do 51.5 really but we think we actually enjoyed this one even more. It’s a superb game, fantastic setting and story with really clear signposting. The puzzles were excellent and we both had strong games with a number of the puzzles being worked out after a bit of thought which leads to the excellent hosting by the lovely Anne as she didn’t jump in with clues allowing us to get them in our own time but with a little nudge when needed. It’s a very different story to 51.5 so highly recommended if you’re coming for that”

“We love the compendium rooms. This was the first one we did of 3 in one day. There was a lot of different puzzles but plainly padlocks which was really authentic and classic escape room. Set design was brilliant and attention to detail and smells was impressive. Well thought out puzzles that flowed really well and made for a really good game. Big shout out to our games master Luke who made the day as good as it was”

“It’s crazy to me that this escape room costs less than some of the cookie cutter experiences you get with other providers. Such a wicked room (‘room’ is selling it short, BTW. It’s absolutely massive). If you haven’t done this one, I can wholeheartedly say there is a reason it is recommended whenever you speak to GMs elsewhere. It really is that good 👍🏻”

“Another fantastic room from Alex and his team. I was hesitant at first when I read the backstory, but don’t let that put you off because it’s a brilliant room. There’s loads of puzzles, lots of different ones that we haven’t seen before and a great range of difficulties. It has very little to do with ‘turds’ other than collecting them, and there was nothing dirty or ill-humoured about it. It was just good, silly fun! Think it may have taken top-spot for my favourite UK room. Strongly recommend!”

“I’ve always had a soft spot for a good pirate room, and this is a good pirate room! This is the oldest room at this venue but I found it hard to tell. The overall puzzle design may feel a little dated (nothing here will probably surprise you but old ideas still have the power to surprise) but they flow well and will test your overall puzzling skills. The theming and scenery is first rate and all puzzles are on theme.”

“My partner was initially very sceptical about completing a Christmas themed room in the middle of spring but along we went and even the Grinch himself was converted with this one! Fantastic theming and another superbly built set meant that this room was a joy to explore. With plenty to do, this one kept us busy throughout and had an extraordinary finale! Highly recommend!”
